“What is your plan B” he is often asked by guidance officers at school. “I don’t have a plan B it just distracts me from Plan A” says Kyle. Now he is celebrating after receiving an NRL scholarship with the Cronulla Sharks.

An unwavering focus and commitment to achieving his dream has resulted in the best outcome for Kyle. Kyle was referred by his school Nambour State High School for two Lift a Drifter (LAD) experiences.

It was obvious from the first moment, when every answer he gave to the LAD entry questionnaire had the word ‘football’ in it, that football was definitely his passion.

During LAD Kyle was supported by holding the space for his learning opportunities to revolve around football.

Kyle says that the LAD experience has helped him return to school and manage the school context but would love SevGen SEECCERS to be a fulltime offering with more students.

One day Kyle… One day.
