Volunteering with SevGen will give you the opportunity to work with interesting people from many different backgrounds and cultures, each with something special to offer their community and the wider SevGen team. Why volunteer?
People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. Regardless of the motivation, what unites them all is that they find it both challenging and rewarding.

Deadly Espresso

Do you want the opportunity to volunteer at world famous Eumundi Markets in a vibrant learning environment ? Deadly Espresso is a specialist bushtucker café You will be working with people who have re-entered employment through SevGen’s hospitality education scheme as well as people who are working to pay of SPUR debt through community service. Deadly is looking for enthusiastic individuals who can help us on busy Wednesdays and/or Saturdays for as many hours as you can spare.
Following skills are particularly sought after: Education Social work Barista skills Hospitality Cookery
However, willingness to learn and a positive attitude is just as valuable.

Mow and More
Mow and More is a brand new social enterprise activity which aims to provide work opportunities to people from an indigenous background. It aims to find work for those who love hard yakka!
One of our projects includes building a specialist bush tucker garden to power our world famous café!
We are looking for hard working volunteers who would like to take part in this extremely special opportunity. This is a chance to be part of something that has never quite been done before.
