SevGen

SevGen is short for Seven Generations, an ecological way of thinking that says our actions of today will affect seven generations into the future.

SevGen creates wellness through connection, relationships and collaboration.

A movement rooted in the wisdom of generations past, the actions and deliberations of the current generation with awareness of the impact on the next seven generations. We honour each person’s unique gifts while reinvigorating Indigenous ways of being for the collective benefit of all.

Our Indigenous ways of thinking and living, place power directly in the hands of the people who need it most. Participants gain the skills, experience and confidence to shape the lives they want - empowering each individual, within a family style social context for the benefit of the whole community, for generations to come.

Forever Fruits and Flowers

A regenerative bush-food orchard and living classroom on Kabi Kabi Country. Galeru grows native fruits, trains community in land stewardship and provides space for healing.

Holding space for you to discover your passion

A justice-diversion program for individuals facing suspension, expulsion or sentencing. Youth, Young Adults or Adults join short, strengths-based intensives that redirect their energy, rebuild confidence and reconnect them to their purpose.

Highly Identified Person’s Strength Training Academy AKA PAPPA (Play Autonomously in Passion with Purpose Always)

A youth-led incubator where participants explore their passions (arts, enterprise, digital media, sport) and turn them into micro-businesses or employment pathways.

Giving you space to practise mastery of it

Play Autonomously in your Passion with Purpose Always: SevGen’s trademark pedagogy for self-directed, culturally rooted learning that grows “SEECCERs”: socially, emotionally, ecologically, culturally, creatively, educationally, respectfully solid people.

Protecting our source of Human Permaculture

A creative permaculture of story, personal development through our roles in community whether that be music, business, art, trade, sport or performance that reconnects people to their Dreaming in contemporary contexts— world tours, new businesses, gallery shows, mobile stages, recordings and community residencies.

From desperate need to genuine care relationship

A fine-debt relief and skills-exchange initiative: participants work for SevGen to reduce State Penalties Enforcement Registry (SPER) debts, gain experience and rebuild financial health.
