Modern Songlines Project On The Move

Spending time in the permaculture of Walpiri is an amazing opportunity to get a sense of oneness.

“There is a saying. There are three types that come to the outback, Mercenaries, Missionaries and Misfits!”

Well I  didn’t consider myself any of the latter so immediately started sprouting other M words that might best describe my  being there.

“Well, I have a new message. There is a fourth type that has come to the outback and they are the type you should invite more. I think I would be a Mutant.” I said (Terri Waller- founding director)

Mutant: an organism that is different from others of its type because of a permanent change in its genes

SevGen’s interpretation of this definition is that we have a new message for the Walpiri from the MMMM group. One that says…

“Walpiri permaculture is the source of humanity. A source that must be maintained in its purist form. It would be a travesty to taint it in anyway. Without this permaculture example we have no hope of staying connected to the core of our humanity.”

The Modern Songline project is beyond what you can see and we would love you to be a part of it.
