When we first started (back in 2011) thinking of creative ways to finance the start-up of SevGen, crowdfunding was a fairly new scene.

A lot going on!

As we first began thinking about creative ways to take SevGen forward crowdfunding was a very new scene. That was back in 2011.

SevGen is so blessed to have connected with Uncle Francis Firebrace. Destined and declared to work together in the near future Uncle Francis and SevGen Creator Terri Waller seal their fated destiny with a loving embrace.

“Then Now Next” themed TedX Canberra couldn’t have been a better event to create more rapid developments for SevGen. The synergy that was felt amidst like minded people was mind blowing: Uncle Tom, Luke, Pearson, Margot, Jeanette , Evan, Lisa, Yash, Jake, Sherina, Wilma, Gavin, Amber and Maria (appearing on the morning after).

A few sit downs to have while I am here in Canberra to grow the awareness of SevGen. Two outstanding ones have attracted us some more Journeypeople. Now we wait for the energetic connections that follow from the connections and ready ourselves to make the most of it!

On Monday 26th September we launched our first crowd funding campaign titled “Be a part of the ‘Fevolution’ at SevGen”

Our funding goal is $4000 and our start couldn’t have been better.

On Wednesday 21st of August; the day of a Blue Moon, SevGen planning group met to ensure SevGen is ready to operate. With only a couple of minor steps to action we move confidently to securing our first enterprise customer.

How awesome is it that we have been given a shout out by this amazing business.

SevGen Creator and Director Terri Waller has recently presented the concept to Gympie Regional Council Economic Development Manager Lynne Wilbraham… and how can it get any better than this?

Well we are almost ready and needing to get the word out there that we are wanting investors. If you know any company or individual who would see the value of SevGen and could financially invest in the project please let us know.

We are thrilled to share with you that SevGen received a letter of commendation from the Commissioner of the ADCQ Kevin Cocks.

What a wonderful opportunity to share stories of Self-design’s education slow revolution and SevGen’s education fevolution. We saw many ways where we are on the same path, which for us, offers more evidence of the cry from community for a different way to be educated.
