What fantastic news. SevGen is partnering with Cooroy Family Practice to transform the medical practice into a Wellness Centre.

Affectionately known as the Most Meaningful Mega Challenge Eva! We are finalising the details of the first event of many to keep lots of energy swirling around in the challenge. On Wednesday 11th February at 3:30pm SevGen will hold a Gathering of Good People to start off the challenge.

Selling 6 paintings and getting orders for 2 more paintings by consignment left us feeling very deadly! We are already planning our next art auction in February or June so keep your eyes peeled.

Spending time in the permaculture of Walpiri is an amazing opportunity to get a sense of oneness.

Subsequent contact with Minister for Education John Paul Langbroek and Minister for NT Indigenous Affairs Nigel Scullion’s offices is stepping our “Modern Songline” initiative closer and closer.

SevGen is a loving, living, laughing, listening and learning place! We believes there needs to be more creative and constructive ways offered to cater for the diverse learning needs. We are serious about making a difference and have revealed our public action we are calling “The Red Leaf Movement”

A ‘miraculous’ outcome for term 3 has resulted in SevGen’s Lift a Drifter experience being asked to continue providing educational support and therapeutic care for cases of school refusal.

It is our goal to be a different kind of learning place. As you can easily imagine this is no mean feat. Until then visionary SevGen SEECCERS will gather for seasonal days of SevGen PAPPA (Playing Autonomously in Passion with Purpose Always) learning.

“What is your plan B” he is often asked by guidance officers at school. “I don’t have a plan B it just distracts me from Plan A” says Kyle. Now he is celebrating after receiving an NRL scholarship with the Cronulla Sharks.

‘Not Just Horsing Around’ is the name of our project that we are running in affiliation with Te Mana Stable. We are organising some fundraising events to help fund the project for SevGen SEECCERS who have discovered that horses and horsemanship is their passion.

Almost two years in the planning SevGen is set to roll the Boomerang Bus into schools in 2015.

Term 2 of the school year is often seen as the most settled term. This is both exciting and alarming for Lift a Drifter as our program was bursting at the seams in both numbers and energy levels.
